Leading technologist Robert Bedichek has been named Vice President of Engineering at embedded systems design automation company Vast Systems Technology Corp.

Leading technologist Robert Bedichek has been named Vice President of Engineering at embedded systems design automation company Vast Systems Technology Corp "Robert Bedichek's depth of experience in advanced simulation technology, coupled with his strong management background, is an outstanding addition to our world class engineering team"

"Robert will lead the growth of our R and D efforts and enhance our ability to bring our growing family of virtual system prototyping solutions rapidly to our world wide markets", stated Alain Labat, Vast President and CEO.

"Rob has an extraordinary background in simulation technology, work that he has pursued throughout his career including while at MIT and later in his role as an innovator and manager for Advanced Micro Devices", commented Graham Hellestrand, Vast founder and CTO.

Bedichek has over 20 years of software, hardware and architectural design experience.

Prior to joining Vast Systems, he was an Advanced Micro Devices Fellow and head of the SimNow platform simulator group.

Bedichek was previously with Transmeta Corporation as Director of Software Products and Intel Corporation as Computer Architect and Senior Software Engineer.

Bedicheck holds a PhD in computer science and engineering, University of Washington, a masters and BA in computer science from Cornell University.
