Virtual models support ARM 11 design

Vast has developed three virtual models of the ARM 11 family of high performance microprocessors.

Vast Systems Technology Corp has announced that its virtual system prototypes continue to support the ARM architecture with three Vast virtual models of the ARM 11 family of high performance microprocessors.

Vast is currently delivering its virtual model of the ARM 1156 to customers and will ship its model of the ARM 1136 and 1176 over the next few months.

"Vast is pleased to be able to offer high performance, cycle-accurate, software models of the ARM processors".

"Our customers use the Vast virtual ARM models plus Vast models of other processors, buses and peripherals to build virtual system prototypes used for architecture analysis and optimisation and early software development", said Alain Labat, CEO of Vast.

The ARM Developers' Conference will be held from 4th to 6th October 2005 at the Santa Clara Convention Centre in California.

Vast will be on Booth 711.
