VaST Systems Technology Corporation will demonstrate its virtual system prototyping solutions at Embedded World in Nuremburg.

Vast Systems Technology Corporation will demonstrate its virtual system prototyping solutions at Embedded World in Nuremburg Vast technology enables the creation of very high performance, simulation based cycle-accurate software models of embedded systems, operating at or near real-time speeds

A key advantage of using a VSP is that the hardware and software portions of the system can be developed and evaluated concurrently.

A VSP allows different hardware architectures to be quickly and easily tested and analysed under real software workloads.

Furthermore, while hard real-time software code is being developed, its execution yields trace data (from probes inserted into the models) from which performance (timing, reaction times, latency times etc) and power data are produced alongside normal debug data.

Vast technology enables its users to being embedded software development many months before the actual hardware, or even a hardware prototype, is available.

Vast's customers include world leaders in the wireless, consumer electronics and automotive industries.
