Software orchestrates microwave modelling
Vector Fields has upgraded its Concerto software for three-dimensional analysis and design of microwave components such as antennas, waveguides, microstrips and microwave heating etc.
The 64bit addressing removes any practical limit to the size of computer memory and thereby extends the maximum model sise beyond the 30,000,000 cell limit for 32bit machines.
With 16Gbyte installed RAM, Concerto's efficient solver can run very large calculations within reasonable times even with models approaching 100 million cells.
For those who do not need to work with very large models, Concerto Essential provides excellent value for money.
All the features of the professional version are available, with a model size that is sufficient for many routine applications in RF and microwave design.
The perfect economical package, Concerto Essential is ideal entry level RF design simulation software, with low ownership cost and an upgrade path should the capability of the Professional version be required at a later stage.
