RoHS-compliant extended temperature board is based on the low-power-consumption AMD SC520 CPU for fanless operation.

VersaLogic has released a RoHS-compliant version of its popular extended temperature Lynx single board computer for embedded applications Featuring the same high reliability and technical specifications as its non-RoHS counterpart, the Lynx EPM-4h is rated to operate in temperatures from -40 to +85C

The Lynx uses the AMD SC520 CPU for low power draw (less than 5W) and fanless operation.

Key features of the Lynx include soldered-on system RAM, four COM ports, 10/100 Ethernet, watchdog timer and VCC sensor, and a CompactFlash adapter.

The extended temperature Lynx is well-suited for OEM applications that require rock solid performance in extreme or harsh conditions.

The introduction of this RoHS-compliant extended temperature product demonstrates VersaLogic's continuing commitment to support embedded computing applications that are subject to RoHS regulations.

Pricing for the EPM-4h starts at around US $400 in OEM quantities.
