"This will benefit OEMs by providing a lower bill of materials, more selection and interchangeability between suppliers, simpler system designs, and reduced obsolescence and maintenance costs".
VDC expects a 28% growth in annual unit sales of POLs, and estimates the worldwide market for POLs will be $545 million in 2005.
