Vibren Technologies has joined SuperH's Partner Programme.

Vibren Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corp, has joined SuperH's Partner Programme.

The SuperH Partner Programme was designed to establish a world-class network of complementary products and services to support SuperH licensees and their customers.

As part of the programme, Vibren will provide SoC design services and software development services to SuperH licensees and their customers.

SuperH is a leading semiconductor intellectual property (SIP) licensing company for the 32 and 64bit RISC-based industry and the leading supplier of multimedia RISC CPU cores.

Patrick Sansonetti, Vice President of Business Development for Vibren, comments, "Working with SuperH is a natural fit for Vibren because of our experience and in-depth knowledge in the semiconductor industry and with the SuperH architecture.

Our inclusion in the SuperH Partner Programme highlights our software expertise in the integration of SuperH IP into SoC devices and embedded system designs".

"We are very pleased to be working with Vibren and are excited that they have joined our Partner Programme", said Jon Frosdick, Director of Software at SuperH.

"The addition of Vibren's skills in advanced engineering services will provide further options for SuperH licensees and help with reduced time-to-market for SuperH-based solutions".
