Switcher provides high-density
compliance
The FlatPAC-EN is an ultra-low-profile EN61000-3-2-compliant power supply with a power density greater than 7.8W/in3.
New from the Westcor Division of Vicor, the FlatPAC-EN is an ultra-low-profile EN61000-3-2-compliant power supply with a power density greater than 7.8W/in3 The FlatPAC-EN, measuring just 233.7 x 127.0 x 35.6mm, provides up to 500W of output power from one to four isolated outputs

Vicor has introduced a novel interconnect scheme.
For full EN compliance, the FlatPAC-EN can provide up to 425W.
It can be configured with any of Vicor's 300V DC input DC/DC convertors in full-, half- or quarter-brick sizes.
Accepting inputs of 90-132 and180-264V AC at 47-63Hz, the FlatPAC-EN uses a microprocessor-controlled autoranging function.
Featuring passive harmonic current attenuation, FlatPAC-EN generates extremely low EMI, which greatly simplifies noise filtering and contributes to its high power density.
It meets the conducted EMI requirements of FCC Class A and B and EN55022 Class A.
It also meets EN55022 Class B with an optional AC inline connector.
Like all Westcor power supplies, the FlatPAC-EN AC/DC switcher can be factory configured to meet the specific power and voltage needs of the customer.
The FlatPAC-EN is a drop-in upgrade to Vicor's existing 2-Up FlatPAC.
It is pending worldwide safety agency approvals for CE, cULus, and TUV.
