VICBricks high-performance DC/DC convertors conform to the industry-standard quarter-brick footprint and pinouts.

VICBricks high-performance DC/DC convertors conform to the industry-standard quarter-brick footprint and pinouts VICBricks leapfrog existing quarter-brick offerings in the areas of power density, efficiency, transient response and cost

This superior performance is enabled by the revolutionary VI Chip technology, offering higher performance and lower cost than any other low-voltage quarter brick, making VICBricks the best value in the industry.

VICBrick high-density convertors (up to 120A/in3) are enabled by the new VI Chip technology.

Each VICBrick consists of two VI Chips: a 36-75V DC input preregulator module (PRM) that is paired with an appropriate voltage transformation module (VTM) chosen to provide the desired output voltage.

Although the ultralow-profile package conforms to industry-standard quarter-brick footprint (36.8 x 57.9mm), it stands only 6.4mm high and achieves an unprecedented 100A of output current.

Efficiency at 86% for a 1.2V-output model enables higher output currents for the same airflows and ambient temperatures.

With a switching frequency of over 3MHz, the already low level of output noise is easily filtered to negligible levels - and the transient response inherent in the VTM makes the VICBrick the fastest DC/DC convertor in the industry.

Standard outputs include 1.0 and 1.2V at 100A, 1.5 and 1.8V at 80A, 2.5V at 60A, 3.0 and 3.3V at 45A, and 5V at 30A.
