Although competition was strong Acal was a clear winner of the first award.
The Distributor of the Year Award recognises the activities of Acal in finding new projects and working with these new and existing customers to deliver exceptional growth performance for 2005.
In addition, the partnership ethos demonstrated by the increase in joint visits ensures that the customer can benefit from the knowledge of both Vicor and Acal.
In announcing the award, Andy Gales, Senior Director of International Sales said: "I am delighted to present our 2005 Vicor European Distributor of the Year Award to Acal, UK.
Last year, in recognition of the changing business climate and increased demands from our end-user customers, we developed a Vicor-distributor charter, which places equal responsibility on Vicor and its distributors in driving success for all".
