Aperto signs for enterprise test data management

Aperto Networks has selected Arendar enterprise test data management software from VI Technology for testing PacketWave systems produced in its manufacturing facilities.

Aperto Networks, a leader in WiMAX-class multiservice broadband wireless access systems for global markets, has selected Arendar enterprise test data management software from VI Technology for testing PacketWave systems produced in its manufacturing facilities.

Arendar will be used to collect, organise and analyse test data and generate reports ensuring PacketWave basestations, subscriber units, associated radios and antennas pass Aperto's stringent manufacturing specifications and quality control standards.

Aperto's PacketWave broadband wireless system provides a single coherent platform for delivering converged data, voice, and video services over an IP network.

According to Allen Adolph, Vice President of Operations at Aperto Networks, Arendar will help Aperto ensure continuous quality and productivity in manufacturing operations.

"We selected Arendar because we needed a tool for managing manufacturing test information throughout our organisation and also with our global contract manufacturing partners that provide PacketWave system components", Adolph said.
