Forum to embrace digital intelligence

The seventh annual VIA Technology Forum (VTF) will lay out the direction for "Embracing digital intelligence" and take place in Taipei from 7th to 9th June during Computex 2006.

The seventh annual VIA Technology Forum (VTF) will lay out the direction for "Embracing digital intelligence" and take place in Taipei from 7th to 9th June during Computex 2006.

Areas of focus for VTF 2006 include high definition computing, the ultra mobile lifestyle, connected client computing and emerging markets.

"The rapid proliferation of digitally intelligent technologies and growing availability of high speed broadband infrastructure opens up vast opportunities for new markets, applications and usage models", said Richard Brown, Vice President of Marketing, VIA Technologies.

"VIA Technology Forum brings together the computing, communications, applications and content communities to outline how to embrace digital intelligence and take advantage of these opportunities that influence our lifestyles in the office, at home and on the go".

VTF2006 will consist of a three-day event in Taipei with a compelling programme of keynote addresses, and specialist presentations in four technology track seminars: high definition platforms; ultra mobility; connected client computing; and emerging markets.

Complementing the presentations at VTF2006 will be the innovation showcase, where VIA's key industry partners will display and demonstrate their latest products, technologies and services.
