As the industry leader in ultramobile platforms, VIA has charged VTF2007 with outlining the principal industry strategies required to drive this trend.

VTF2007 will consist of a one-day event at the Grand Hyatt Taipei Hotel with a compelling program of keynote addresses, and specialist presentations in two technology tracks.
The "Enabling ultramobility" track will examine the latest ultramobile platform technologies that extend battery life, enhance connectivity and drive platform miniaturisation, and the key applications and services that are enabling greater convenience and access to communications, information and entertainment resources; together with a maturing infrastructure, they are driving the adoption of these ultramobile devices.
The "Connected client computing" track will look at the key trends in client computing, including developments in software and hardware, and their impact on the total cost of ownership; it will also focus on innovative approaches to client computing that are opening up whole new possibilities for enabling access to IT, highlighting case studies of successful implementations in both developed and emerging markets.
