Vitelec is now offering a multigang MCX connector.

Vitelec is now offering a multigang MCX connector.

Popular with designers and engineers, the coaxial MCX connector has been widely available in 50 and 75ohm impedance as single versions but now this versatile connector can be ganged together in multiples of four, six, eight or to any specified customer requirements.

The multiganged Vitelec MCX connector comes in a linear array and is ideal for use in situations where multiple lead insertion or extraction is required and also where space is at a premium.

A typical six-plug arrangement will have the six MCX Connectors internally mounted linearly along a rectangular, nickel plated brass housing.

At each end there are retaining screws with a knurled centre screw for positive mating.

The receptacle bar with its internally mounted sockets has lead-outs at right angles specifically designed for PCB mounting.

Vitelec can offer customised short to medium run quantities of any ganged coaxial connector arrangements in MCX and SMB.
