Vitelec has released a new range of 50ohm end-launch surface-mount SMA connectors.
Vitelec has released a new range of 50ohm end-launch surface-mount SMA connectors.
The SMA SMT end-launch threaded coaxial connectors are designed to meet the needs of high-frequency applications and where space is at a premium.
The new product will further enhance the company's already well established Vitelec-Johnson range of SMA coaxial connectors.
These offer a choice of gold or nickel-plated versions, the plug and socket connectors are available in round or tab centre contact options.
PCB edge mounting is made using various PCB support leg versions.
The centre tab contact option offers a higher frequency specification, whereas the round stub is used in lower frequency applications where impedance mismatch is less of an issue.
The end launch SMA connector is also available in a bulkhead version for both surface-mount and conventional through hole PCB fixing.
The surface-mount products are supplied in tape and reel format but are also available bulk packaged if required.
