Vitelec Electronics now offers a complete and comprehensive RF coax cable assembly service In a bid to satisfy demand from a range of market sectors for both standard and custom design cables Vitelec Electronics has recently invested in upgrading its equipment and facility at Bordon, Hampshire, UK

As a result Vitelec can design, build and test cables up to 18GHz incorporating flexible, rigid and semirigid cables and can also accommodate custom requirements for marking and identification, in addition Vitelec can supply phase-matched cable sets.

Plots and test data are available with all cables if required.

The flexibility of its operations allows Vitelec to offer a quick turnaround on small quantity batches while automatic cable preparation and termination equipment can handle larger volume requirements.

According to Sales and Marketing Director, Peter Walmsley, the cable assembly facility has grown from being a small value added facility for a small number of customers to being a core competence for the company.

Walmsley added that a significant contribution to the forecasted growth in the UK and Europe would come from customer-specific cable assemblies in the next five years, selling the products through its recently relaunched Vitelec-Johnson Brand.
