Charcroft joins Vitelec network
Vitelec Electronics has named Charcroft Electronics as a franchised distributor.
Vitelec Electronics has named Charcroft Electronics as a franchised distributor.
The move is designed to carefully match customers with the distributor that provides the best fit in terms of area of expertise.
The agreement covers Vitelec's RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies for defence, aerospace, instrumentation, contract manufacturing and industrial applications.
Located in Powys, Wales, and with over 25 years' experience as a specialist distributor of passive components, Charcroft Electronics holds key supplier status with a number of leading industrial, defence and aerospace companies.
Its level of expertise in these market sectors makes Charcroft an ideal partner in Vitelec's drive to increase efficiency within the distribution process, and raise the company's profile throughout Europe.
"Our new relationship with Charcroft Electronics represents a significant development for us", commented Peter Walmsley, Vitelec's European Sales and Marketing Director.
"The company is an extremely experienced distributor of non-active products and offers the specialist skills required to make a major contribution to Vitelec's European sales effort".
For Charcroft Electronics the agreement is equally promising.
"Vitelec RF coaxial connectors and cables are a natural progression for us and one which has been largely driven by customer demand".
said Edmund Coady, Sales Director of Charcroft Electronics.
"The addition of connector specialists to our team means that we can now extend the combination of in-depth market awareness and specialist product knowledge to Vitelec's RF coaxial connectors and cables as well as other non-active products".
