Vitelec Electronics is rebranding as part of the Emerson Network Power Connectivity Division.

Vitelec Electronics is rebranding as part of the Emerson Network Power Connectivity Division.

An important element of Emerson's corporate brand strategy, the name change marks a new phase in the development of Vitelec and lays the foundations for the introduction of a new range of advanced products and enhanced levels of customer service for the European marketplace.

As part of the newly formed Emerson Network Power Connectivity Division, Vitelec becomes the Emerson Group's European facility for connector products and assemblies, with its full range of components now marketed under the Emerson Network Power brand.

With Emerson's international reputation for quality and service, the development further strengthens Vitelec's ability to meet market requirements in a highly structured way - enabling it to continue the development of its established range of RF and coax products, while adding new and innovative products to its portfolio.

The introduction of a new range of fibre-optic cable assemblies, all branded under the Emerson Network Power Connectivity name, is the first in a series of developments under this initiative.

Having recently appointed a number of fibre specialists to its team, and supported by a comprehensive distributor network, the company aims to establish this new area of business within the UK and Europe, and will follow it with several other launches in the coming months.

Commenting on the company changes, Greg Dalton, Managing Director of Vitelec Electronics said, "Branding our products under the Emerson Network Power name is the first stage in an exciting period of development for the company.

This is a significant step forward which will enhance our ability to provide even higher levels of customer service, and develop leading-edge products to add to our already extensive range, particularly in areas not previously addressed by the company, such as fibre-optics".
