Enclosure simplifies VPX integration
The Vmetro VPX/VXS portable tower gives engineers and software developers a head start on their integration and application development.
Based on Vmetro's new PowerMidas 5000 I/O controller, the CP-MDR family has been optimised for maximum flexibility and includes onboard options for dual Fibre Channel, dual Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and/or Race++ interface(s) without having to sacrifice available PMC sites.
It offers two PMC sites as standard, with independent PCI-X buses for each site.
Five PMC sites are available with an optional mezzanine.
CP-MDR recorders include Vmetro's SAN Access Software for Data Recording Environments, providing advanced data recording capabilities such as remote management, disk grouping, intelligent disk management and real-time data recording.
Unlike other solutions, Vmetro data recorder families use flexible Fibre Channel SAN technology, allowing associated data recording environments to be easily expanded without performance degradation.
This combination of powerful hardware and software provides an easy-to-use data recording interface, and the ability to record multiple high-bandwidth streams of data with an aggregate performance up to 385Mbyte/s.
As with all Vmetro data recorders, the CP-MDR family is fully compatible with Vmetro's SAN Access Kit as well as existing Vmetro data recorder environments. Request a free brochure from Vmetro ...
