Vmetro-Transtech has signed an agreement that enables system OEMs to obtain integrated and tested VXS/VITA 41 systems that combine its multiprocessor/FPGA products with Elma's high-speed backplanes and enclosures This blending of each firm's customisation capabilities, best practices and advanced technologies into viable solutions, addresses the needs of many OEMs, and will greatly accelerate the introduction of the VXSbus architecture into compute-intensive military, avionics and communications applications
