LSI Logic is the latest in a growing number of key customers to join the LicenseE programme in an effort to drive Verisity's e verification language toward public standardisation.

"The LicenseE programme was developed to drive the adoption and maturation of the e verification language", said Francine Ferguson, Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Verisity.

"With industry-leading companies like LSI Logic joining the standardisation effort, we are making significant progress in making what has already achieved de facto acceptance by the verification community, an open public standard.

LSI Logic's participation in the LicenseE program and e Steering Committee will be a welcome addition".

"We use Verisity extensively in the verification of our high-performance processor subsystems, memory controllers, and other key AMBA IP used with our broad portfolio of ARM and MIPS cores.

We therefore have a substantial interest in the evolution and standardisation of e", said Doug McKenney, Director of Processor Engineering at LSI Logic.

"As a member of the LicenseE program, our goal is to participate in the drive toward e language standardisation so that it is open and available to everyone".
