The VTM 4459 is a low-cost power relay with a current rating of up to 12A and a coil-voltage range from 3 to 48V.
The VTM 4459 is a low-cost power relay with a current rating of up to 12A and a coil-voltage range from 3 to 48V.
The device, which measures 21.4 x 16.5 mm with an above-board height of 15mm, is designed for printed-circuit board mounting, and is available in two contact configurations: 1NO and 1CO.
An indication of the relay's high reliability is provided by its rated mechanical life of 10 million operations and its electrical life of 100,000 operations at rated load.
Key electrical parameters are: maximum switching power, 2400VA AC and 336W DC; maximum switching voltage, 380V AC and 110V DC; and dielectric strength (at 50Hz), 1kV between contacts and 4kV between coil and contacts.
Applications include the automotive, lighting, control and instrumentation, alarm and electrical appliance sectors.
Typical price is 29p per device for quantities of 1000 or more.
