Wadsworth is now offering a range of telecomms access products that simplify loop connection of customer premises or cellular radio sites to the main telecommunications network.

As the only UK distributor for the Pinacl networking portfolio, Wadsworth is now offering a range of telecomms access products that simplify loop connection of customer premises or cellular radio sites to the main telecommunications network over fibre and copper circuits Providing a cost-effective alternative to ATM, SDH and PDH networks, the Pinacl 9000 series of products is ideal for small-to-medium enterprises and cellular and SOHO environments where bandwidths from 64kbit/s to 2Mbit/s need to be delivered

Key applications include onward linking of digital radio systems, interconnection of cellular radio basestations, extending ATM circuits to customer sites and connection of Primary Rate ISDN circuits to the core network.

Pinacl's 9000 series covers single- and dual-channel HDSL modems as well as offering multiport optical fibre modems and multiplexed optical modem cards.

The product range allows for transmission of many services including E1, Groomed E1, X21, ISDN, Transparent LAN, N x 64K, 10Base-T Ethernet and RS232/422.

All products are supplied preconfigured to enable 'plug-and-play' installation and commissioning.
