Matthews takes the helm at Wadsworth

Computer networking distributor Wadsworth Electronics has appointed Kevin Matthews as its new Managing Director.

Computer networking distributor Wadsworth Electronics has appointed Kevin Matthews as its new Managing Director.

Matthews, who has been with Wadsworth since 1999, was previously the company's Sales and Marketing Director.

Prior to joining Wadsworth he was the UK Sales Director for the British subsidiary of a multinational industrial automation manufacturer.

Discussing his new appointment Matthews comments: "While many companies are suffering as the market becomes tougher, Wadsworth is planning on growth.

A key element of my role will be to manage and sustain that growth by ensuring that our resources remain focused on delivering the products and services that our customers demand in these challenging times".

Matthews takes over the position of Managing Director from Paul Wells and will be based at Wadsworth's headquarters in West Molesey in Surrey.
