WASP has introduced two new types of toughened-glass back panels.

Although offered for many years as a substrate for mounting its resistive touchscreens, WASP has always been aware that the major limitation of glass in such applications is its basic fragility Now thanks to changes in glass manufacturing technology, WASP has introduced two new types of toughened-glass back panels

Now able to satisfy situations where ordinary glass is vulnerable, the new WASP panels are available in either chemically toughened glass which are 20% stronger than normal glass, or, for use in situations where chemically toughened glass cannot be used, a thermally toughened alternative is available.

Having no effect on the conductivity, speed or efficiency of the touchscreen, the toughened versions are available as standard or custom designed versions.
