WASP has added a "push-to-turn" option to its rotary switches.

WASP has added a "push-to-turn" option to its rotary switches Requiring a deliberate action to get into a specific operating position, the new facility is primarily designed for military communications equipment, but can also be applied to other equipment to prevent accidental damage or injury

This failsafe variation can be added to one, or a number of positions on the switch, which will then require a deliberate action to access that particular contact point.

This facility is already in use on WASP's DR and DJ ranges which offer a panel area of 12mm.

The push position on the switches can be designed for either end of the switch travel, and the force required to operate the switch can be altered to suit the application or operator.
