Wasp develops capacitive switching system
Wasp has developed a capacitive switching system that can be adapted for use in almost every situation where non-mechanical switching is required.
Controlled by specially written computer software to test parameters defined by the customer, the equipment can handle a number of tests including tolerance of operation positioning or predetermined range of acceptable resistance to circuit conditions.
Tests are run using air jets, which give a noninvasive operation, and the computer will give a go/no-go result to make the test decisive.
The equipment is enclosed in Perspex, and will only operate when closed to ensure the test is completed at optimum speed for the product requirements.
The advantages this equipment offers are many, including, a test designed to the customer's requirement completed at speed with 100% reliability of product acceptability.
