Rotaries fit into confined panel spaces
Fitting front panel switches on communication equipment often requires the need to fit them into restricted spaces in order to allow additional components to be used or to reduce weight.
Fitting front panel switches on communication equipment often requires the need to fit them into restricted spaces in order to allow additional components to be used or to reduce weight To help designers achieve this WASP has introduced a solder lug version of its DR range of rotary switches which allows the switch to be easily soldered in the most confined space
The DR switch is offered in one to four poles with up to 12 positions, as well as in coded outputs, adding more flexibility to the design.
All the switches are panel and spindle sealed, with stainless-steel spindles and gold contacts.
With a life exceeding 10,000 complete operations at the upper temperature of 85C, the DR can be used in all harsh conditions experienced by military equipment, as well industrial and medical applications.
