Terminal blocks bring heavy-duty cables
onboard
Weidmuller's new LUP terminal block extends its Powermate PCB range with heavy-duty power input terminals rated up to 76A/1000V (VDE) 60A/600V (UL1059) for large-cross-section conductors.
Weidmuller's new LUP terminal block extends its Powermate PCB range with heavy-duty power input terminals rated up to 76A/1000V (VDE) 60A/600V (UL1059) for large-cross-section conductors The LUP terminal blocks are available in two pitches - LUP 10.16mm and LUP 12.7mm - with 2 to 12 poles, and are suitable for electronic power supply applications such as drives, motors and frequency convertors

Speedy connection for rail terminals
By developing its insulation displacement connection technology Weidmuller's new IDC2 terminal range has introduced faster installation in an even more compact rail-mounted terminal.
By looking carefully at the LUP 10.16 and LUP12.7 design parameters - clearance and creepage, terminal screw, cable entry and test points - Weidmuller has specifically designed the terminal block for true rated voltages of 300V (UL/CSA for LUP 10.16) and 600V (UL/CSA for the LUP 12.7) and 1000V (VDE 111/2).
With international approvals, the LUP terminal blocks can be used in global markets.
The Weidmuller LUP terminals will accept ferruled conductors up to 10mm2 as well as flexible and solid conductors to 16mm2, using Weidmuller's renowned screw clamp vibration-proof connection technology for security of connection.
The design includes testing points for the PS2.0 test plug, for safe simple circuit testing, a requirement often ignored in PCB terminal design.
