The SAI-M5 sensor-actuator integrator is the smallest passive integrator on the market, making it suitable for industrial control applications where compact size and low weight are a necessity.

The new SAI-M5 sensor-actuator integrator from Weidmuller is the smallest passive integrator on the market, making it suitable for industrial control applications where compact size and low weight are a necessity.

Designed for three- or four-pole connections, with 6mm external diameter and M5 thread, it is available in four- and eight-channel modules, and is IP67 rated.

To facilitate installation, testing and maintenance of the system, each channel is permanently numbered, with two LED indicators per channel, designated A and B.

Space for personalised marking of each channel is also provided.

Weidmuller's SAI-M5 series is available as four- and eight-channel distributors.

The smallest module has fixed cable inputs, with outgoing distribution connectors of either three or four poles.

With the M5 connectors the overall size of these fixed input cable modules is 14 x 76 x 20mm and is suitable for use with drag-chains.

The fixed input cable is 10m in length, with other cable lengths available on request.

There are a further two module styles available, the new four-pole modules with M12 input connectors and the eight-pole modules with the M16 input connectors.

Both these units have M5 outgoing connectors and are available in either three- or four-pole distribution connector styles.

Overall dimension are a compact, 20 x 116 x 20mm.

The Weidmuller SAI-M5 is rated to 3A (1A per contact) and 24V DC and manufactured in rugged, impact resistant thermoplastic with a flammability class UL94V0.
