Metal film resistors have medical precision
The RC series of precision metal film resistors is available with commercial or CECC release approved with low TCRs over a wide resistance range.
Many medical applications need precision measurement and sensitive detection of small signals, and this has led to an increasing demand for more advanced solutions.
Amplification circuits, in equipment such as ECGs, ultrasonic monitors and in-vitro diagnosis systems, rely on resistors with higher than normal precision tolerances to achieve this.
Now, Welwyn Components is offering the medical electronics market the RC series of precision metal film resistors which are available with commercial or CECC release approved and offer low TCRs over a wide resistance range.
John Graham, Marketing and Sales Director, Welwyn Components, said: "A key parameter of the RC series is the defined total excursion on resistance value over the life of the product".
With resistance tolerances down to 0.05%, the RC series features low noise, low temperatures coefficient, and negligible voltage coefficient.
Also, ideally suited to test and measurement equipment, the precision metal film resistors offer three power ratings from 0.25 to 1W at 70C ambient.
With limiting voltages of 350 to 500V, the series is offered in E96 values from 1ohm to 10Mohm and have an operating temperature range from -55 to + 155C.
