A new series of ultra precision metal film resistors offers a defined total excursion that provides high stability under temperature fluctuations of 5ppm/C and with a tolerance down to 0.01%.

Offering a wide value range with closer tolerances and low TCR figures, Welwyn Components now offers a resistor with a defined total excursion that provides high stability under temperature fluctuations of 5ppm/C and with a tolerance down to 0.01%.

The CAR Series of ultra precision metal film resistors have a specially formulated epoxy coating that offer high reliability and superior moisture performance giving a typical long term damp heat stability of 0.02%.

This makes them ideal for use in weighing and measurement instrumentation that requires stability and precision over a long period of time.

The CAR Series offers three power ratings of 0.25, 0.33 and 0.5W at 70C ambient.

Limiting voltages are 250, 350 and 500V, respectively.

Resistance values range from 10R0 to 10M, with tolerances down to 0.01% and TCRs to 5ppm/C.

The operating temperature range is from -55 to + 155C.

"The combination of resistor engineering and process competence enables us to provide precision solutions with a defined total excursion on resistance value over time, temperature, load and frequency", says John Graham, Marketing and Sales Director of Welwyn Components.
