Website gains parametric search engine
TT Electronics Welwyn Components has launched a redesigned website as well as a parametric search engine to create a more user-friendly experience for both current clients and new visitors.
TT Electronics Welwyn Components has launched a redesigned website as well as a parametric search engine to create a more user-friendly experience for both current clients and new visitors.
Online datasheets are available from the home page and the new parametric search engine provides easier, faster and more accurate search results, for resistor products, where visitors to the site can find the ideal Welwyn solution compatible with specific technical requirements.
The idea behind the search engine is to facilitate engineering search time and help buyers identify the needed product without having the full technical specifications.
The revamped site allows users to access a huge range of material, which provides comprehensive data on Welwyn products and promotes the company's world experience in hybrid microelectronics assemblies and resistor technologies.
With enhanced graphics and navigation menus the website gives a breakdown of the various services Welwyn offers and directs visitors to their specific areas of interest.
A new resistor calculator is available to calculate customers' required amps, watts, volts and ohms.
The user need only know two of the values with the programme being able to calculate the remaining specifications.
As well as a complete overview of the available products and their technical details, the site includes a company profile, contact details of all distributors and worldwide agents, and updates on employment opportunities.
Caroline Elliott, Marketing Projects Manager at Welwyn Components, said: "The Internet has allowed us to provide an invaluable arm to our range of products and services".
"In today's climate where speed is essential, our aim is to be able to provide current and potential customers with the information they are looking for at the touch of a button".
