Wire-wound resistors handle pulses with
ease
The WA80 series of wire-wound resistors boasts superior pulse handling capability with resistance values down to 0.01ohm.
Welwyn Components reckons it is developing solutions for new applications with its WA80 series of wire-wound resistors based on to its superior pulse handling capability with resistance values down to 0.01ohm The robust cement-coated wire-wound resistors are ideal for power supply applications across the telecomms, military and industrial markets which require a replacement for carbon composition resistors within the circuit design

Tiny resistors handle up to 3kV
The Welwyn Components HVC series of high-voltage chip resistors offers compact sized resistors rated for continuous voltages up to 3kV.
John Graham, Marketing and Sales Director said: "As part of the Welwyn input protection range, this resistor provides a key fusible solution and is completely customisable to suit the individual application design requirements".
The WA80 series family of resistors is already available rated from 1 to 7W (at 25C), with values from 10mohm to 10kohm and tolerances to 1%.
Meeting the temperature range of -55 to +155C, the WA80 series can be customised for specific fusing or pulse handling characteristics. Request a free brochure from TT Electronics Welwyn Components ...
