TT Electronics has appointed Jon Reardon-Smith as Managing Director of Welwyn Components.
TT Electronics has appointed Jon Reardon-Smith as Managing Director of Welwyn Components, with effect from Monday 21st March 2005.
Reardon-Smith joins Welwyn Components from Plexus Corp, the US global contract electronics manufacturer, where he held a number of senior management positions.
Prior to this he was Managing Director of TT ems Rogerstone (formerly AB Electronic Assemblies).
Reardon-Smith brings with him over 20 years experience in the electronics industry, operating across the automotive, industrial and medical sectors.
He holds a degree in electronics from the University of Wales.
Bob Fletcher, Divisional Chief Executive of TT Electronics Components Division, highlights: "We are very pleased to welcome Jon back into TT Electronics".
"His wealth of experience is set to benefit both the resistor and microelectronic assembly businesses of Welwyn Components".
Reardon-Smith, his wife Diane and their two children have relocated to the North East from their stateside home.
