Surface mount resistors take on new tasks
Welwyn Components is finding specialist new applications for its ranges of standard and custom surface mount resistors.
For fusible requirements, Welwyn provides the WFF, FM and EMC families.
These are used for inrush and mains input protection applications.
For current sensing in PSU current monitoring and for control in circuit breaker applications - the MF-S, MFP and 2500 Series are outstanding flameproof cement resistors.
The MFR and RC(P) groups supply low power components, most notably for precision dividing and signal processing across various industrial and medical applications.
Finally, for circuits with a need for high voltage solutions, the MH and GC series offer voltage dropping for power factor correction and also act as barrier and bleed resistors across different consumer applications The Z Forms are compatible with vacuum pick and place systems and are supplied in reeled blister tape.
John Graham, Marketing and Sales Director for Welwyn highlights: "These components were developed with the customer's production costs in mind, namely it offers the potential to remove leaded processing".
"Therefore, affording the customer a move to single line assembly".
"Our WA80Z Series has sparked an industry phenomenon, and we are excited to be able to offer engineers even greater freedom of choice in niche application design". Request a free brochure from TT Electronics Welwyn Components ...
