The Welwyn Components HVC series of high-voltage chip resistors offers compact sized resistors rated for continuous voltages up to 3kV.
Suitable for application in circuit breakers, across a broad range of end-user markets including automotive, defence and consumer, the MFP resistor coating will not burn or emit incandescent particles under any condition of applied temperature or power overload.
As an aid to its customers' production, Welwyn can provide these resistors with preformed and terminated leads, as well as resistor subassemblies with connections by crimping for non-PCB assemblies.
The MFP series is available with a power rating up to 2W at 70C.
It has an ambient temperature range from -55 to +155C and TCRs are available up to 100ppm/C.
