In addition to Tensilica, Jones also serves as a member of the boards of directors of Nvidia Corp, Axis Systems, SteelEye Technology and Crossbow Technology.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer sciences from Georgetown University and a Master of Science degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
O'Grady is a seasoned expert in the software industry.
His financial background and insight will help Wind River as the company continues to evolve with changing customer needs.
O'Grady is cofounder and Senior Managing Director of Granite Ventures.
He has been an investment manager for the Adobe Ventures series of funds since inception in 1994.
Prior to cofounding Granite, O'Grady served in various positions with Hambrecht and Quist's venture capital department.
He currently serves on the board of directors of Tumbleweed Communications, Kontiki and Westbridge Technology.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering in chemical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business Administration.
"The combined experience that these two gentlemen bring to the board, together with Wind River's market leadership, strong customer base, innovative technology and talented employees will enable Wind River to reach new heights", added Klein.
With the addition of Jones and O'Grady, Wind River's board currently has eight members.
Other members include Ken Klein, John Bolger, Bill Elmore, Jerry Fiddler, Dr Naren Gupta and Grant Inman.
