Wind River offers comprehensive development tools that support the MIPS32 and MIPS64 architectures and cores through Wind River Workbench, Wind River's Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE).
Through this alliance, joint customers can benefit from optimised and tightly integrated, end-to-end solutions on VxWorks- and Linux-based runtime platforms.
In addition to supporting existing MIPS cores and including the recently announced 24KT family of cores, Wind River will collaborate with MIPS Technologies on supporting new technologies such as multithreading and DSP architectures.
