Three-dimensional "first" for passive
antenna
The MP Extreme Band antenna is a continuous banded antenna that is operable from 750MHz to 6GHz.
The MP Extreme Band antenna is a continuous banded antenna that is operable from 750MHz to 6GHz The single antenna solution is also multiply polarised, allowing collection of signal on the x, y and z planes in a passive antenna technology
This single antenna will operate all cellphones 750-900, GPS, PCS, XM radio, 802.11a, b and g, 3G and all frequencies in between.
The MP antennas are able to use signals no other antenna can see and have distinct advantages in obstructed non-line-of-sight operations due to their ability to use reflected and refracted signals that most other antennas see as noise.
The MP stands for multipolarised, multipath and multiplane utilization of signal.
Wifi-Plus reckons it is the first to achieve three-dimensional capture in a passive antenna design.
The company believes the technology will improve connectivity at any frequency.
