Willtek Communications has prepared an online seminar covering wideband CDMA, the most common air interface technology used by third-generation mobile network technology UMTS.

Willtek staff will conduct the seminar in English, with audio and visual presentations over the Internet on both 16th and 23rd June 2005.

The two identical sessions will introduce participants to the WCDMA technology and explain the measurements that are necessary to perform final tests on wireless terminals conforming to the UMTS standard.

Due to the high demand for service trainings on WCDMA, this seminar will be held over the Internet; Willtek has already organised local training sessions, all of which were fully booked.

This new web-based format gives individuals throughout the world an opportunity to learn more about WCDMA technology and RF measurements for wireless terminals without major restrictions such as travel time and cost.

Willtek offers this seminar at no cost.

The new seminar starts an all-new series of Willtek online training courses, delivering technical knowledge to mobile phone repair technicians and other individuals working in the constantly changing wireless industry.

Willtek will offer a new free training topic every quarter.

Participants will need to register in advance on the Willtek website in order to gain access to the seminar.

They will also need a PC connected to the Internet and equipped with a loudspeaker or headphones.

During the seminar, participants will be able to ask questions which will be answered at the end of the session.
