Wolfson Microelectronics has achieved a place in the Sunday Times ARM Tech Track 100, published on 28th September 2003.

Wolfson entered the annual list at number 79 alongside a total of nine other technology companies with headquarters in Scotland.

"The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 has become a well respected guide to growing UK technology companies and we are delighted to appear in it for the first time", said Wolfson Managing Director David Milne.

"It is a terrific endorsement of all the hard work and enthusiasm the whole team has put in over the last few years".

Now in its third year, The Sunday Times ARM Tech Track 100 annual league table is compiled by Oxford-based research company Fast Track and published with The Sunday Times business section.

Companies are ranked according to their annual growth rate in sales between 2000 and 2002.

Eligible companies had to be registered in the UK as unquoted ultimate holding companies.

The league table adopts the London Stock Exchange's Techmark definition of what constitutes a technology company.
