Following its recent successful flotation Wolfson Microelectronics has been named in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for Scotland for the third year in succession.

"The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an extremely well respected roll-call of successful fast growing Scottish technology companies and we are delighted to again be named among them", commented Wolfson's Managing Director, David Milne.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 programme was created to recognise the contribution that fast growing technology companies make to the economy.

This year's companies were judged on turnover growth over the years 2000 to 2002 and this year's top 50 were named at the annual awards night held on 30th October at the Glasgow Science Centre.

Fred Hallsworth, Head of Technology at Deloitte in Scotland said: "The results of this year's Fast 50 are outstanding.

Considering the size of Scotland, our technology sector appears to be punching well above its weight".
