Chinese foundry passes the test
Wolfson Microelectronics has contracted CSMC Technologies Corporation for foundry services, using the 150mm fab facility at Wuxi, China.

Commenting, John Urwin, Operations Director of Wolfson Microelectronics, said: "China is a significant growth market for our products, and our partnership with CSMC-Tech underlines our commitment to this market".
"Before entering into this agreement, we evaluated CSMC-Tech rigorously, and we believe that they are able to meet our high expectations of quality and performance".
He added: "We have received the first wafers from CSMC-Tech".
"Tests show that they exceed our performance and high quality expectations thus enabling us to ramp up production immediately across a number of products".
