Wolfson receives its Queen's Award
Wolfson Microelectronics has received its Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2004, from the Rt Hon Lesley Hinds Lord Lieutenant and Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh.
Wolfson Microelectronics has received its Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2004, from the Rt Hon Lesley Hinds Lord Lieutenant and Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh.
The award was made after Wolfson's overseas revenue has trebled over the last three years, with 90% of the company's FY 2003 sales going to the Asia/Pacific region.
Commenting on the award, David Milne, CEO said: "We are honoured to receive this prestigious award".
"It is a recognition of the hard work and dedication of our whole team around the globe, and I am delighted to receive it on their behalf".
