Boston plays host to Wolfson's second US base
Wolfson Microelectronics is extending its US operation with the opening of a new sales and applications office in the Boston area.
Wolfson Microelectronics is extending its US operation with the opening of a new sales and applications office in the Boston area.
The new office will support its expanding business on the East Coast and will complement its existing US location in San Diego, California.
Commenting, Mike Clancy, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Wolfson Microelectronics, said: "The new East Coast office is the latest addition to a worldwide sales expansion programme started three years ago".
"This is now Wolfson's sixth international sales office".
"The Boston office will support our expanding East Coast business and, consistent with our successful growth strategy, provide customers with both local sales and engineering support".
The new office will be headed by Jeff Rozmus, who has been with the company for 2 years and is relocating to Boston to manage the East Coast operation.
He will be responsible for recruiting additional staff.
