Wolfson Microelectronics is a major supporter of this year's Edinburgh International Science Festival.

The festival, which runs from 6th to 15th April, offers numerous interactive events aimed at making science accessible to everyone.

"As a technology company, we are keen to share our passion for science".

"We are delighted to be supporting this imaginative festival, which enables children and their families to enjoy exploring science and technology", commented David Milne, CEO at Wolfson.

The Kids Events at Wonderama experience takes place at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh from 6th to 16th April.

One of the events to be sponsored by Wolfson is "Good Vibrations", a science of sound exhibition that gives children the opportunity to puzzle their brains with sound illusions and experiment with a variety of unusual musical instruments.

Wolfson is also sponsoring "Dude we Gotta Finish the CD", a live show that allows kids to create sounds and rhythms that, along with electronic gadgets, will produce potential hit songs.

In addition to these fun and informative attractions, kids visiting Wonderama will have the opportunity to venture up a giant nose to deliver oxygen to "the big guy".

They can also put their pet rescue skills to the test in "Vets ER: save Felix the Cat".
