Featuring a 15in high-brightness TFT LCD panel, the 19in rack mountable WS-855 industrial workstation from Wordsworth Technology is designed to meet NEMA 4 or IP 65 requirements.

Featuring a 15in high-brightness TFT LCD panel with 1024 x 768 resolution, the 19in rack mountable WS-855 industrial workstation from Wordsworth Technology is designed to meet NEMA 4 or IP 65 requirements.

It supports a 10-slot backplane and optional resistive type touch screen with RS-232 interface.

The workstation comes with a built-in touch pad on the front panel with waterproof designed PS/2 interface and has a front-panel USB port with door protection for easy access and security.

An 8U high workstation, the WS-855 has been designed with an antivibration card clamp to keep the system stable.

Specifications include 0 to 50C operating temperature, high shock and vibration resistance and dimensions of 483 x 265 x 265mm.

The unit's TFT LCD has a brightness of 200cd/m2, backlight MTBF of 25kh, 36bit colour and an MTBF of 50kh.

The WS-855 supports a PS/2 size AT or ATX power supply as well as a variety of backplane options, including PCI-10S, PX-10S, IP-10S and BP-10S.

A single 12cm ball bearing fan with filter provides cooling and a built-in alarm board detects fan status.
