Wordsworth Technology has a new six-slot chassis that comes fully equipped, saving time and simplifying system configuration.

Wordsworth Technology has a new six-slot chassis that comes fully equipped, saving time and simplifying system configuration.

The PAC-1000, available as a desktop or wall-mount unit, includes 300W PFC power supply at 230V AC, 8cm ball bearing fan to optimise cooling, fan monitoring and removable fan filter.

The unit can house one 5.25in drive, one 3.5in floppy FDD and one 3.5in HDD.

Wordsworth also offers an optional 6-slot backplane, pre-installed and configured.

Measuring 421 x 176 x 252mm (421 x 181 x 272mm with mounting flanges), the PAC-1000 six-slot chassis comes in an attractive dark blue finish.

Units are rated for vibration at 5 to 17Hz, 0.1in double amplitude displacement, 17 to 640Hz, 1.5G acceleration peak to peak, and for shock up to 10G acceleration peak to peak.
