The Intel Pentium based Kino 6612LVDS has a tiny 170 x 170mm form factor and is compatible with a host of industry standard connectivity, multimedia and storage options.
The Wordsworth 4BDP22 card implements a Socket 478 supporting a Pentium 4 mobile processor up to 2.4GHz with 400MHz front side bus.
The Pentium 4 processor is, in turn, supported by Intel 845D and ICH2 north and south bridge chipsets, respectively.
Two 184-pin DIMM sockets for up to a maximum of 2Gbyte of DDR DRAM provides the system memory.
Graphics support is provided by an ATI Mobility M6-D chip (with 16Mbyte of on-die memory).
The card supports an LVDS LCD panel and dual CRT displays.
Other features include: a 10/100Mbit/s LAN controller (with WOL support); four USB ports (onboard pin-headers); a DIP socket for M-System DiskonChip Flash disks; hardware monitoring for CPU and system temperature, voltage and fan speed; a watchdog timer; two EIDE channels for four ATA 133/100/66 IDE devices; an ITE 8888 PCI to ISA bridge; a keyboard/mouse connector; and overall dimensions of 338 x 122mm.
"We are very pleased to be able to offer this new PICMG CPU card.
The use of the Mobile Pentium 4 processor means that the card is ideal for applications that need high performance but low power", said Nick Coxhead, Technical Director at Wordsworth Technology.
"Also, the mobile Pentium 4 processor only requires a relatively small heatsink, which means that the card is able to fit inside a 1U rack enclosure, opening up a wide variety of applications within this form factor", he continued.
